Since November 1st, Media Solutions, earlier a division of Teknograd AS and a DAM solution provider, has been part of BrandMaster AS, because of the acquisition.
Mediegalleri is a solution built on DC-X by Digital Collections in Germany and has been a solution provided by Teknograd since 2002. DC-X is mainly aimed at publishing houses and newspapers, in addition Mediegalleri has been packaged and expanded to serve marketing and communication departments with the need for media banks as well under Teknograd AS.
As Teknograd AS has grown and expanded IT services and data center operations, the Media Solutions division and services was no longer core business and in 2016 they acknowledged that to maintain and grow the business area and meet their customer needs they had to either develop the division within Teknograd, or look for a new partner.
After a thorough assessment with the BrandMaster team, the Media Solutions division and services were acquired from November 1st and BrandMaster took over the contract with Digital Collections from Teknograd and could welcome two new employees to their team, Peder Godvik and Fredrik Davidsson.
Teknograd has wanted to look for development opportunities for Mediegalleri to meet further customer demands and needs, and when we met BrandMaster we soon realized that BrandMaster matched us well regarding product solutions and values. We saw opportunities for our own Mediegalleri which we knew would benefit our customer base and we saw the opportunity to enter a professional environment who were focusing on the same product capabilities and features as us, and had taken this longerPeder Godvik
Business as usual
Teknograd has done a fantastic job of securing an extensive customer portfolio with their DC-X solution for the newspaper industry as well as the more traditional marketing and communication departments with their Mediegalleri DAM solution. Brands like Sapa, Sport1 Group, Yara International, Europris, Coca Cola Enterprises Norway, Isola, Kygo Life, Verdens Gang, Schibsted Norge, Adresseavisen, Aftenposten, and Computerworld are all customers we are now proud to have included in BrandMaster AS.
All customers will experience “business as usual” and there will be no significant changes. It is important to the Mediegalleri team who is now part of BrandMaster, to maintain the same customer service and level.
For these customers however, it is entirely positive that Mediegalleri is now a part of BrandMaster as they can access further product options if desirable and the Mediegalleri team has skilled professionals sitting with them to help expand and grow their solution from where it is today.
Attaining Mediegalleri provides valuable assets and experience to BrandMaster and vice versa and the prospects for the Mediegalleri and DC-X customers has huge potential. Mediegalleri is now part of a developer environment and expertise that will solely help to further develop what is already there. Feedback from the customers has been positive and they too see future potential and advantages in the new structure.
BrandMaster saw significant potential in Mediegalleri and DC-X with product synergies and skillful employees. Incorporating these two important pieces into BrandMaster, we are growing our customer portfolio, but more importantly acquiring important experience and knowledge that will be valuable assets to the future of BrandMaster. With two weeks into the new organisation, Peder (Product Manager, Mediegalleri & DC-X) is working from BrandMaster head office in Oslo and Fredrik (Senior Consultant) is based in Trelleborg, Sweden. Their focus in the nearest future is to keep business as usual and meet customer expectations on delivery and support.
