General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the largest change to the data security act in over 20 years, primarily dealing with Privacy, Security and Transparency. On May 25, 2018, the new law came into force and BrandMaster is welcoming the enhancement.

The new legislation is especially strict when it comes to PII (personal identifiable information) This means all data which may be used to identify a person. You need to be aware on how you process, collect and store the data.

Your company are the “controller”, and thereby responsible for the data and must be able to demonstrate compliance with GDPR.

BrandMaster views this enhancement of privacy very positively. At a time when automatic collection and storage of data is increasing and exposure of personal information is required to use online services, it is reassuring to know that there are strict requirements for suppliers for handling information obtained.

It is important to us that you as our customer feel secure in our handling of your data. We are of course fully compliant to all regulations. We were before GDPR updated law, but found it welcoming to go through all our routines, to update and make sure we are future proof.

Our customers were trained and informed in how to use our applications, and we made an overview of how personal data can be stored in our solutions.
